A to Z experiments

A – Apple experiment

Have you ever noticed that if you put down an apple half way through eating it and return to it a little later it’s started to turn an unappetising brown colour? Wouldn’t it be great if there was something you could do to prevent this. Well maybe there is. In this experiment you need to put pieces of apple in different environments and see what effect this has on the colour. You could put them in different liquids or places with a different temperature or amount of light, it’s up to you. Just make sure that you leave one on a plate with nothing on it as your control sample.

Send in your photos and we’ll add them to the blog. Have fun!
